Kelt displays live spot pricing from market data sources and refreshes regularly. Prices are indicative and may differ slightly from dealer quotes due to premiums, fees, and timing.
Does Kelt calculate profit and loss?
Yes. Kelt estimates unrealized and realized performance using your recorded cost basis and current spot pricing. For the most accurate results, include premiums, shipping, and any transaction fees.
Can I set price alerts?
Yes. Create alerts for gold and silver spot thresholds and receive notifications when targets are reached (subject to device settings and notification permissions).
Is Kelt available outside the United States?
Kelt is designed for collectors and investors internationally. Availability, currency display, and certain exchange features may vary by region and local requirements.

How does the melt value calculator work?
The melt value estimate is based on the item’s recorded weight and purity multiplied by the current spot price. Dealer premiums, collectible value, and condition are not included unless you record them separately.
How does the coin counterfeit detector work?
Kelt provides guided checks to help you validate common characteristics (dimensions, weight, magnetism, and visual markers). It is a screening tool and does not replace professional verification.
How is my data protected?
Kelt is built with a security-first approach. Use a strong device passcode and keep iOS updated. Do not store sensitive personal details in item notes.
